Designed specifically for this set. It began with a pencil sketch, after which a jeweler transformed it into a full 3D model before casting its form in zinc alloy to make the tentacled handle feel satisfying and textured.

Conceptualized by our lead illustrator Lev Kaplan, the materials of its creation were chosen for weight and sharp detail, so every scale and curve stand out.
Envelope and Sketches
Tucked inside the case is an envelope filled with sketches from the making of The Book. These early drawings evolved into the finished illustrations you see within its pages.
